Professional Counseling & Consulting, Psychological Assessment, Mediation, Parenting Coordinating, Intervention and Medical Services:

We offer traditional and contemporary professional services.  Call us at 480-730-6222 or email us at info@pcaaz.com to set up the type of appointment that is right for you.  Here are the different ways you can access our services:

1. Traditional Counseling in the Office: Our office is conveniently located near the 101 and 60 freeways.  You can meet with one of our counselors in the comfort and safety of our professional counseling center.

2. General Medical Services: Linda Peters, FNP-BC provides general medical check-ups, accute care, medication services, sports physicals, and other specialized medical care.

3. Professional Mediation & Conflict Management Services: Terry Sutter, MA, provides Christian and traditional mediation services.  These services can address disputes within families or between individuals including divorce/custody/parenting, post-decree issues, church conflict, workplace issues, HOA disputes, issues with school administration, etc.

4. Telephone Counseling or Consulting: In the privacy and comfort of your own home, you can talk to a licensed, skilled counselor or psychologist and receive the help you need.*

5. Email/On-line Counseling or Consulting: You can also receive professional services by email or through on-line services such as Skype.  For example, when you email your counselor, you will receive a prompt response with detailed feedback.  Fees for email/on-line services are reasonable - please speak directly to your counselor for the "Email and Electronic Communication/Counseling Fee Schedule."*

6. In-Home Counseling or In-Office Consulting: Several of our professionals may contract with clients to meet either at the client's home or office.  Please speak directly to your counselor or psychologist for additional information.  Additional fees apply for travel time and other considerations for in-home or in-office counseling or consulting.

7. Psychological Testing and Assessment: Dr. Branton and Dr. Chung are able to provide a vast array of different testing services, including psychological, developmental, neuropsychological and ADHD, academic and learning disorders, and personality assessments. 

8. Forensic Services: Dr. Branton, Dr. Chung, and Terry Sutter, MA, provide different types of forensic/court-related services including appointments by a judge to provide psychological assessment, custody evaluations, parenting coordination, therapeutic interventions, re-integration therapy, etc.  Please contact us to see if we might be a good fit for your unique needs.

NEW GROUPS FORMING:

  • Women's Life Issues Group - Designed for women struggling with personal and family issues.  Cofacilitated by Jackie Scorza, MC, LAC, and Jennifer Smithson, MEd, LPC.  Contact either professional for more information.

 

  • Man-Makers Group - Designed for adolescents guys between the ages of 13-17.  The group meets from 5:15-6:30pm on Tuesday evenings; teens work on developing social skills, relationships, anger management, empathy development, frustration tolerance, emotional regulation, communication skills, and more.  Contact Josh Harper, MEd, MS, for more information.

* Certain ethical considerations and practice restrictions may apply.  Telephone or email conseling and/or consulting services can be a convenient alternative to in-office services.  However, in some instances, your counselor or psychologist may recommend that in-office services are better indicated for you and you may need the care of a licensed therapist or doctor in the professional office setting.  If you need immediate mental health assistance, please contact a local mental health professional or dial 9-1-1 for crisis situations.  Additionally, your counselor or psychologist will verbally address issues regarding confidentiality and privacy with you, as well as provide you with a written informed consent form.
