In January of 2003 I received my MA in Counseling from Liberty University and in June of 2003 I became a Licensed Associate Counselor with the state of Arizona. Before and during my training my husband and I worked overseas with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Living among remote people groups gave me a unique perspective on human relations, equipping me to understand cross cultural issues in counseling. For the past 2 years my work experience with Good Works Counseling in Mesa, Arizona, included counseling in the modalities of individual, group, and family therapy with women, adolescents, young adults, and families. In October of 2008, I began working at Professional Counselors Associates –a professional group of faith based Counselors and Professionals in Mesa, Arizona, where I specialize in working with missionary and international assignee populations. I also have experience in the areas of depression and anxiety, family of origin issues, self image issues, communication skills, emotional needs, and crisis debriefing.
Wycliffe has invited me to provide a week long intensive training on Trauma, Abuse, Forgiveness, and Healing. Thus, in October of 2009 I will be traveling to Asia to provide these seminars to nationals who will then be better able to identify and treat those who are wounded in spirit and body within their own community.

We have professionals with a varity of unique experience, training, different skill-sets and expertise. We also have a relationship with Mending the Soul Ministries and provide professional level care within the MTS model. We have a price range that is reasonable and fair compared with other providers in the valley, which we understand is an important consideration in our current economy.
This current fee is an estimate for one 50 minute regular therapy
session. Fees may be subject to change depending on the the nature and
type of services provided. All fees and services provided will be
discussed and approved by informed consent before services are
rendered. Jackie Scorza is an independent contractor with PCA.
